Peter Møllgaard
Dean, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, University of Southern Denmark
Peter Møllgaard is dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences (BSS) at the University of Southern Denmark. He received his PhD in economics from the European University Institute in Italy in 1993 and worked at Aarhus BSS as an assistant professor before joining Copenhagen Business School in 1996. He served there for 22 years, most recently as dean of research. He became professor of law and economics in 2001 and of industrial organization in 2009. His research focuses on the application of industrial organization to competition policy and regulation, often to energy markets. From 2018 to 2022 he served as dean of Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
He chairs the Danish Council on Climate Change (Klimarådet) and is or has been a member of several Danish and international advisory committees and boards, including Energinet.dk, Egmont H. Petersens Kollegium, and the Manufacturing Academy of Denmark.
Møllgaard joined the board of AACSB in 2022. He has served on peer review teams for both AACSB and EQUIS. He is chair elect of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative.
