Kate Kearins
Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, Auckland University of Technology
Kate Kearins is pro-vice chancellor and dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand. She leads the AUT Business School, working with a team of committed colleagues to design and enable the delivery of innovative programs, research, and engagement.
She is also a professor of management, with experience in teaching and research in strategy and sustainability in New Zealand and France, and is a commentator on management and leadership issues.
Previously Kearins has held positions leading research, staffing, and program portfolios. She has been a member of the Academy of Management Board of Governors, and a president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management and has held positions on other nonprofit boards.
Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, Master of Management Studies, and PhD from the University of Waikato, and a Master of Arts in French from Massey University.
