IAE France and AACSB International Announce Agreement
Tampa, Fla., USA (September 22, 2023)—IAE FRANCE and AACSB International (AACSB) have entered a cooperative agreement to advance business education in France. Through the agreement, both organizations will work together to improve mutual understanding of their respective global accreditation activities, explore synergies, and collaborate through shared events. The agreement will also allow them to explore the standards of each organization and help decrease accreditation fatigue for schools in the country.
Established in 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development services to over 1,800 member organizations and more than 1,000 accredited business schools worldwide. As the longest-serving and largest business education network, AACSB connects lifelong learners, educators, and businesses worldwide. AACSB current has 28 accredited schools in business in France.
IAE FRANCE promotes the research and training activities of the IAE in the management sciences. With more than 1,400 university partners around the world, IAE FRANCE has close relationships with European and international institutions and initiates, studies, and promotes the development of international accreditation.
"We are thrilled to be collaborating with IAE FRANCE so that together we can continue build and enhance the quality and value of business education in France,” said Stephanie Bryant, global chief accreditation officer of AACSB. “The depth of experience and coverage of IAE FRANCE in the region will truly complement AACSB’s work in global business education.”
"The continuous improvement of our practices and the quality of our institutes are essential axes of the 2022-2024 IAE FRANCE's strategical project. We are therefore delighted with the signing of this partnership, which concretizes several years of collaboration with AACSB to support the IAE in their international accreditation process," said Eric Lamarque, president of IAE France.
The agreement is in effect for three years, with an opportunity for renewal at the end of the period.
