Nikolaj Malchow-Møller
President, Copenhagen Business School
Nikolaj Malchow-Møller is president of Copenhagen Business School (CBS). Before joining CBS, he held several leadership positions in higher education in Denmark. He was dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark from 2014 to 2019, and, prior to that, he served five years as head of department in the same faculty.
He holds an MSc in economics and econometrics from the University of Southampton and a PhD in economics from the University of Aarhus. His research concentrates on international economics, in particular the effects of trade, FDI, and migration, as well as on entrepreneurship and macroeconomics. He has published in the Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and the European Economic Review, among others.
Malchow-Møller has received several awards for his research, including the Stephan Schrader Prize for best paper in entrepreneurship studies in 2012, and is the author of numerous textbooks in statistics.
Malchow-Møller was elected to AACSB’s board in 2021. He currently serves on the boards of Svendborg Gymnasium, COBIS A/S, Symbion A/S, CBS Executive Foundation, and HBH Foundation.
